Privacy Policy

1. Preamble and Scope

This application is provided by the developer Lu Chao-Chuan (Steven Lu). This policy applies to the nea days iOS application and to the official website, neadays.com. It explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have regarding your own data.

2. Information We Collect

From the version where account features become available, your records are automatically synced to our cloud servers under an anonymous account. You can link an Apple or Google sign-in at any time so your records can be found again after switching phones or reinstalling the app. Before linking, if you delete the app or your phone is lost or damaged, the records under your anonymous account cannot be recovered.

• Account data: your anonymous account identifier; once you link Apple or Google sign-in, this also includes the identifier and email address that service provides to us, along with the display name the service provides at sign-in. Purpose: sign-in, account management, and syncing across devices.
• Activity records: your habit-completion records and related statistics. Purpose: syncing and backup, stored in the cloud.
• Service operation logs: when you use account features, our servers keep sign-in-related logs, such as IP address and device/browser identifying information, generated and retained by our infrastructure provider, Supabase. Purpose: account security and abuse prevention, not used to determine your location.
• Data kept only on your device: interface preferences (such as language), reminder settings, and similar data stay on your phone only.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your location, contacts, or photo content, and we do not use your microphone or camera. When you save a bouquet as an image, we only request the permission needed to add the image to your photo album; we do not read the photos already in your album. We have no advertising SDKs and do not carry out cross-app advertising tracking.

4. Third-Party Services

To operate the app and website, we use the following services:

• Supabase: database and sign-in infrastructure, used to store your account and activity records.
• Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google: provide the sign-in method you choose.
• Cloudflare: hosting for the official website neadays.com, and cookie-free website traffic analytics — no cookies are used, and no personal identification takes place.

5. Personal Data Protection Act Notice

The following is provided under Article 8 of Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act. The parts related to cloud storage and accounts apply from the version where account features become available:

• Period, region, recipients, and method of use: your data is used for as long as your account exists; it is stored in a data center in Singapore; it is used only by the developer and by infrastructure providers we engage (such as Supabase); processing is automated.
• Your rights: you may inquire about, review, copy, supplement, or correct your personal data, and you may ask us to stop collecting, processing, or using it, or to delete it. To exercise these rights: use “Delete Account” in the app, or email us at hello@neadays.com at any time.
• Effect of not providing data: you can use nea days fully without linking a sign-in; the only effect is that your records cannot be recovered after switching phones or reinstalling the app.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

From the version where account features become available, your data is retained for as long as your account exists, and you can use “Delete Account” in the app at any time. Once deleted, your cloud account and any synced activity records are removed. Data kept only on your device is removed when you delete the app.

7. Children’s Privacy

nea days is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you become aware of any such case, please email us and we will address it as soon as possible.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will announce them on this page and update the effective date above. You’re welcome to check back from time to time.
